AFC Wallingford clinched the runners-up spot in the Courage Combined Counties League Premier Division with Saturday's home victory over close rivals Ash.
Mick Mulvaney put Wallingford ahead after only two minutes, and after skipper Gary Stevens had seen his penalty hit a post, Mulvaney made it 2-0.
Ash pulled one back 12 minutes from the end, but Wallingford held on.
