A heroin addict has been sentenced to three-and-a-half years imprisonment after committing 24 offences.
Robin Gale, 40, of Leon Close, Cowley, admitted eight offences and asked for a further 16 - all relating to dishonestly using stolen credit cards - to be taken into account. He was sentenced to 18 months for theft of a caravan; 18 months for using a stolen credit card; and six months for possessing heroin. He was also sentenced to six months for driving the Transit van used to pull the caravan without the owner's consent, to be served concurrently.
John Cammegh, defending, said Gale had come out of prison last year and had come off drugs, but relapsed into heroin abuse and offending after splitting from his wife.
