Budding young journalists at a junior school are breathing new life into their school newspaper after it went out of print.
Caldecott Junior School's Caldecott News is back in circulation after a lapse of nearly two years and copies are being snapped up by readers keen to know the latest news about the school.
One of the Abingdon school's learning support assistants Wendy Winfield mastermined the revival after a small group of children approached her and said they would like to start a newspaper for the school.
Mrs Winfield said: "The children went out and about the school talking to their friends, encouraging them to submit stories and information about activities. I collated the information and put it together on my computer, but now I am starting to take a back seat."
