Roger Cotterell showed his premiership pedigree when scoring 14 dolls for Kennington SC in Section 11 of the Morrells Oxford and District League.
Cotterell clanged off 4, 4, 6 to clinch a 2-1 victory over Star Eynsham.
Nine dolls from Section 7's top scorer Martin Sculpher could not prevent his Turners Arms going down 2-1 to Highfield SC B.
Neal Clarkson scored 11 dolls for the Tandem in their 2-1 victory over Ampleforth Arms in a close Section 8 game.
Adam Baker's excellent 5, 5, 4 helped Rose Hill Dwarfs to a 2-1 Section 8 victory over Masons, Quarry, while Elaine May and John Allnutt each scored ten as their Gladiators B team recorded their first win of the season over Quarry Gate. James Green replied with ten for the Quarry in a 2-1 defeat.
Florence Park B lost 2-1 to Oxford RFC in Section 9 despite nine dolls from Bert Hall.
Simon Beecham helped South Oxford SC A to a 2-1 victory over seven-man Polish Club B weighing in with ten dolls in Section 10.
Red Lion Cassington had to go to one stick in the second leg to secure all three points against Cherwell Club in Section 11.
In the top flight, the Premier Section's leading scorer Kevin Baker recorded two sixes in Cricketers B's 3-0 win at Green Road B. He hit 6, 1, 6 to take his tally to 59 dolls for the season.
