Motorists are being warned to expect delays during seven weeks of roadworks on a main route into Oxford.
The work - due to start on Monday, June 4 - will affect Headington Road between the Gipsy Lane and Headley Way junctions.
Temporary traffic lights will be operating while drains and footpaths are repaired, and the road resurfaced.
During the resurfacing work, expected to take about two weeks, only buses and emergency vehicles will be allowed to turn right from Gipsy Lane and Headley Way.
Headley Way will also be closed for one day so that the junction with Headington Road can be resurfaced.
Both bus stops between the Gipsy lane and Headley Way junctions will be closed while the work is carried out.
