A restored building has been officially reopened at St Anne's College, Oxford.
Lord Mayor Maureen Christian yesterday attended the reopening of 27 Banbury Road, where college tutors have their academic rooms.
Guest of honour was Lord Wolfson, of the Wolfson Foundation.
The charitable foundation contributed towards the cost of renovating the building, which is sited in a conservation area.
Principal's secretary Sandra Madley said: "It was in a poor state of repair. We applied to the Wolfson Foundation and we were granted some funds to bring it up to modern standards."
