The new Lord Mayor of Oxford has been officially sworn in at a historic Town Hall ceremony, St Aldates.
Cllr Peter Moss was made Lord Mayor last night in front of an audience that included Inspector Morse creator Colin Dexter.
The new Lord Mayor first became a member of Oxford City Council in 1979, representing St Clements. Currently he is the Labour councillor for Littlemore.
