One of Oxford's rarest trees - the 'handkerchief tree' - is blooming once more.
The lack of late frosts has guaranteed that the delicate Dividia at the Botanic Garden is putting on a glorious show of dazzling white, square-shaped blossoms, which give it its nickname.

The tree suffered so badly three years ago that staff thought it would not survive. Deputy superintendent Louise Allen said: "We've never seen it so covered in blossom."
