Oxford University students are staging a play about a journalist committing crimes to get scoop stories.
News of the World follows the tale of an ambitious young journalist who gets his friend to break the law so he can be first on the scene and get the story.
The play is being staged at the Burton Taylor Theatre, Gloucester Street, Oxford, from Monday, May 28, to June 2.
Claire Prentice, a student at Somerville College, who is producing the play, said: "This is the first time the play has been performed. It was written by Roland Lloyd-Parry from Jesus College and we are all looking forward to the response we get."
Our picture shows actors Simon Garfield, left, who plays Craig, and Will Hays, who is Gary, in rehearsal.
All performances start at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £6 and are available on the Oxford Playhouse ticket line - 01865 798600.
