Pupils forgot all about stage fright and took to the boards to help raise money for school funds.
More than 60 youngsters staged an entertainment show for mothers, fathers, staff and friends and helped and the evening collected more than £500 through entrance fees, raffles and proceeds from the bar. The money will go towards buying new books and equipment for Rush Common Primary in Abingdon
In a two-hour spectacular, the audience was treated to juggling, singing, dancing, magicians, Irish dancing, piano, recorder and violin playing and comedy acts.
Dinner lady Shirley Buckle, who was one of the event's organisers and is a member of the school's social committee , said: "It was a fantastic night of entertainment from a group of very talented youngsters.
