Three Oxfordshire women are toasting the success of their wine-theme garden at the Chelsea Flower Show.
Laurence Veillet-Lavallee, from Abingdon Road, Tubney, Sheila Bachmann, of Abingdon, and Wendy Ball, from Oxford, won a silver medal in the Courtyard Garden section with four friends from London.
People in Oxfordshire will have the chance to see the award-winning garden at the Blenheim Park Flower Show, at Woodstock, on June 22.
All seven women are freelance garden designers.
Ms Veillet-Lavallee said: "We are so thrilled to have won a medal at the Chelsea show. It was an outstanding joint effort. I think what probably prevented us from winning the gold award was that the black irises were not in bloom."
The garden "Tas de Vin" was named after a silver cup used in tasting Burgundy. It involved planting more than 1,000 perennials in rich, dark colours to reflect the deep glow of a Burgundy wine.
Twelve mature vines were entwined around a decorative metal pergola built by Pegasus of Witney. Corkscrews were symbolised by grass curled in a screw shape.
