Oxfordshire favourites Kingston Bagpuize crashed in a remarkable third-round tie against Warborough & Shillingford.
Kingston, who beat reigning Oxon champions and 1997 national finalists Shipton-under-Wychwood in the first round and saw off 1998 county winners Chalgrove in the next, slumped to a surprise nine-run defeat on Sunday.
Warborough's Andy Broadbent is bowled first ball by Kingston Bagpuize's Simon Launder
Warborough, who do not play any league cricket, were in deep trouble at 7-5 and then 23-7 against their Cherwell League Division 3 opponents.
But they recovered thanks to Dave Anderson and wily veteran Alan Tilley.
This did not look being nearly enough, however, as Rob Keates and the classy Martin Shepherd put on 48 for the first wicket.
But they collapsed dramatically after dangerman Shepherd was the second man out with the score on 64.
Slow right-armer Alan Tilley claimed 3-23, while his son, Ed, finished with figures of 3-30 as Kingston were tumbled out for 103.

Steve Roberts was unbeaten on 121, including 16 fours, and Danny Lee hit eight sixes and eight fours in an 86-ball 117 as Downs amassed 346-2 from their 40 overs.

Meanwhile, 72-year-old Gerald Howat kept wicket for Moreton in their third-round encounter with Cropredy.
Howat, who writes on schools' cricket for The Daily Telegraph, got the call-up because of an injury to regular keeper Richard Dawson.
But it was not a happy day for Moreton, who went down by 102 runs. Cropredy rattled up a massive 295-9 off their 40 overs, Pete Cooling top-scoring with 77 not out for the Cherwell League Division 3 outfit.
