Village children turned their classrooms into a hive of police activity for a week.
They turned detective to track down crimes using a special computer programme provided by the police for schools.
Beat officer Pc Bob Salmon and schools liaison officer for the Chipping Norton area, Pc Paul Bradford, joined youngsters at Chadlington Primary School for a "Language in Evidence" week.
Uniformed guests also called in, including dog handlers, traffic and a fingerprint expert.
"It was really enjoyable for everyone, but at the end of the week I think we were a bit tired!" said Pc Salmon.
The event ended with Chipping Norton's Insp Ian Edwards visiting the school for a "passing-out parade" for the boys and girls.
