Motorists in Banbury will be dogged by more roadworks this summer.
The new works will be in George Street and the lower part of the inner relief road.
A bus priority scheme is to be introduced into George Street and Lower Cherwell Street. It will mean some re-kerbing work and coloured road surfacing. Oxfordshire County Council says the work will start in August and last about four weeks.
The county council is also planning to re-phase the traffic light system on the inner relief road. Red and green phases in Lower Cherwell Street will be harmonised to allow a more efficient flow of traffic. Ducting work for this will begin in June and last about six weeks.
In Woodgreen Avenue, resurfacing work will begin in June and last one week. Diversions will be set up.
