Two Oxford City athletes collected medals at the South of England Championships.

Ben Kelsey won the silver medal in the under 17 men's discus with a throw of 43.52 metres (as well as coming fourth in the shot with a put of 13.76 m).

Tom Gore took bronze in the under 15 boys 200 metres with a time of 23.82. Both athletes have qualified for the England Schools Championships.

Radley Ladies brought home five medals from the championships.

In the under 17 age group, Rachel Brenton won bronze in the triple jump with 11.74m, with only four centimetres separating her from the winner.

Natalie Plateau took bronze in the 300m with a pb of 41.12.

In the under 15s, Dominique Lord won silver in the discus with a throw of 32.73 and Carolyn Plateau took bronze in the 800m with a pb of 2.18.59.

Lauren Hawkins Taylor won bronze in the long jump with a leap of 5.08m.
