Birchfield Harrier Mark Flint ran away with the Witney 10K road race on Sunday, finishing in 32.19 - well in front of second-placed Gary Harris, from Headington Roadrunners, who clocked 33.38.

But Harris had the consolation of winning the Oxfordshire 10K Road Race Championship, which was held in conjunction with the event.

Woodstock Harriers took the open team prize with Greg Dell (33.50) coming third , Richard Shipway (33.54) fourth and over-40 veteran Bryan Vaughan (34.24) seventh.

Shipway, Vaughan and Tony Hunn (34.53) took the county team title for Woodstock.
