More than 400 runners are expected to pound the roads around Thame during the annual 10km road race.
The event, part of Thame Festival of Sport on June 24, is sponsored by marketing company CPM, in Aylesbury Road.
During the race there will be two fun runs, one for youngsters aged seven to 11 and another for 12- to 14-year-olds.
Although many clubs put in teams for the road race, most entries are from individuals raising money for charities.
A dozen cups and awards are up for grabs in the festival.
The 10km charity road race starts at 9.30am and will be followed by other competitions and exhibitions.
All the events are based at Thame Sports and Arts Centre in Oxford Road.
Football, short tennis, badminton, netball, trampolining, judo, gymnastics and basketball are all featured.
And there will be a special martial arts exhibition including karate, kung-fu, tae kwon do, tai jut su and tang soo do.
