A special guest has flown into an Abingdon hotel - but she is not staying in any of the 31 rooms.
The collared dove has built a nest in a patio parasol at the Upper Reaches Hotel, in Thames Street.

Annie Cousins, the hotel conference and sales manager, said: "People sit at the table beneath and often don't even realise she is there. But she doesn't seem bothered.
"She has been there for a week now and I think she must be sitting on eggs. Her partner sits on the hotel roof and makes an awful racket!"
