WHEN housebuilder Linden Homes Chiltern launched a new development in Oxford, first in the queue to view was eight-year-old Linden Goff.
Linden had seen her name on the company's board and watched the building work at Priory Court, in Cutteslowe, as she went past every day on her way to school.
She wrote to Linden's chief executive, Phillip Davies, to tell him of the coincidence.
Sales and marketing director Helen Todd said: "We were delighted to receive the letter from Linden.
"We wrote back and suggested that she and her sister Michaella should come to the launch of Priory Court to meet us and to have a look around the development.
"She turned up looking very smart in a Linden Homes baseball cap that we sent her."
Linden said: "I enjoyed being shown around the development by Helen. And she gave me a bag of goodies, all with my name on. I haven't taken my hat off since!"
Our picture shows Linden passing the development on her way to school.
