Wallingford's Riverside Park plunged into the busy summer season when the main pool opened.
The sunny Bank Holiday weekend tempted lots of people to take a dip at South Oxfordshire Leisure Ltd's complex, next to Wallingford Bridge and the River Thames.
Other facilities on offer last Saturday include camping, car parking, refreshments and a free paddling pool.
The site's assistant manager, Gavin Pearce, said it had been a much better start to the season than last year.
He added: "Hopefully, it's going to be a very good year. We're looking forward to seeing everyone down here."
The main pool is open from 10am during school holidays and from noon otherwise. For adults, it costs £2.30, and for children and senior citizens, £1.50.
A major refurbishment is planned for the Riverside Park by the summer of 2003, subject to council and Lottery funding.
