Bicester & North Oxford were involved in a thrilling finish with Radlett in the Home Counties Premier League on Saturday.
In a match reduced by three overs each side, Bicester made 258-4 from their 60 overs, with Oxfordshire skipper Rob Williams leading the charge with an unbeaten 100.
Radlett then crashed to 13-2 but upped the tempo as Scott Moffat sped to 119 not out.
However, at the finish, the visitors were just two runs short of their target at 257-6.
James France missed out for Bicester, while all the other batsmen made useful contributions, Graham Savin (42 no) joining Williams to give the innings a timely boost towards the end.

When Mark Stanway and a run out reduced Radlett to 13-2, they seemed content to play for the draw, but then Moffat and Hampton (75) turned the innings around and victory became a possibility.
Moffat almost clinched it with his century, but it was not quite enough.
