A plea for more people to get involved in this year's Thame Carnival has been made.
Carnival president and chairman Len Webb is urging people to take part in any way they can. If they do not, the carnival procession through the town on June 23 will be very small.
The event was almost cancelled because no-one was willing to organise the week-long festival.
But Mr Webb, who founded it more than 25 years ago, stepped in for one year only to make sure Thame has at least the parade and fete.
