Division 1 title contenders High Wycombe proved too strong for Bicester & North Oxford in Saturday's encounter, winning by five wickets.

Batting first, several of the home side's batsmen got a start, but only Aussie opener Rod Davision and skipper Darryl Woods made any impression.

Davison hit a top score of 49 before becoming one of Cole's three victims, while Woods made 31. He fell to Travaglia, who finished with impressive figures of 4-32 off 17 overs.

Bicester's 63-over total of 165-8 never looked enough as Wycombe made a confident reply.

Opener Matt Eyles held the innings together with 74 before falling to county skipper Rob Williams, who claimed a surprise 3-5 off 3.4 overs towards the end of the innings.

Wycombe, though, were never seriously stretched as they got home in 47.4 overs.
