Oxford's Fat Tree Theatre Company presents one of Tom Stoppard's funniest and most popular works at Amey Hall in Abingdon School, writes Chris Gray.
The Real Inspector Hound is a parody of a traditional country house whodunit. Two critics sent to review an ordinary murder-mystery play are inexplicably drawn into the action with hilarious results.
The company that produced the highly acclaimed Working Title last year have put this new production on to raise money for Diabetes UK and local arts charity New Century Arts.
They are looking forward to appearing at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for the first time next month.
Performances at Amey Hall are at 8pm, with a matinee tomorrow at 2.30. Tickets will be available at the door. Pre-show drinks are available from 7.30.
