Teenage artist Oliver Mundy has won the regional section of a national art competition.
The 14-year-old student at Besselsleigh School, in Besselsleigh, near Abingdon, has won a national competition where pupils were asked to depict conservation issues.
Run by Paradise Wildlife Parks and Halcyon Fine Art Group, the competition aimed to encourage children to think about the environment.
Oliver, one of 16 regional finalists, won a state-of-the-art, combined TV and video.
His winning painting was of whales and rainforests.
Special needs teacher Lynda Booth said: "Oliver is very good at art. He definitely has a talent. We're very proud he's won."
Boxing celebrity Frank Bruno was handing over Oliver's prize at a Birmingham ceremony tonight, when the overall national winner was being announced.
