Luke Merry (38) was top scorer for Thame where visitors Banbury XX dismissed them for 143 on a green pitch.
Twenty then raced off to 40-0 from Thame's first four overs until skipper Richard Carr got among the wickets to finish with 7-65. But Twenty managed to hold on at 130-9 in a nail-biting finish.
