Geoff Lambert (3-83) did his best for Dinton 2nd at Long Marston, but scores of 71 not out and 84 from John Roberts and Bryen Rose helped Long Marston to 216-5.
Dinton's reply got off to a good start, but from 90-0, left arm seamer Nigel Horne got to work, taking 5-35 as Dinton had to be content with a draw at 201-8, despite a sterling 84 from John Purcell.
