Oxford Nondescripts gave second-placed Dinton a fright by rattling up a huge 299-3 dec thanks to centuries from Dennis Mihaljevich (106) and Ian Mead (120), who set the pace with a 157 partnership.
Dinton then slipped to 79-5 to hand the initiative to Nondies. But an unbeaten 102 from Phill Scott redressed the balance as Dinton held out at 212-6.
