Police have found the car used to ram-raid an Oxford shopping centre and steal thousands of pounds worth of designer watches.
The H-reg Austin Montego, which was filmed by CCTV cameras being driven through a plate glass door at the Shoe Lane entrance to the Clarendon Centre, was found abandoned in Bodley Place, north Oxford.
The car was used to ram the back entrance of the centre at 4am on Saturday, before being driven through the L-shaped arcade and into the window of Ernest Jones' jewellers. The three men in the car then grabbed expensive Armani and Tag Heuer watches, before fleeing.
Police believe the car, previously reported stolen from Summertown, was probably dumped shortly after the raid. They are appealing for anyone who saw it being left to contact them on 01865 266333.
