A bicycle ride of 300 miles through the steamy jungle roads of Vietnam is the prospect waiting for a Garsington student.
Helen Cowles, 21, of The Rectory, is planning her trip to raise at least £2,500 for Mind, the mental health charity.
She will fly out to Vietnam with a party of other cyclists and travel through Saigon and Da Nang on her trip down the country.
Miss Cowles said: "It will be tough going but it is for a very good cause. The money I raise will keep the Mind helpline open for four days.
"I have had friends suffering from depression and other forms of mental illness and I think it is important that there are facilities to help them."
Miss Cowles, a former pupil of Wheatley Park School, is an occupational therapy student at the University of East Anglia in Norwich.
She is looking for sponsors for the trip in November, and she can an be contacted on 01865 361381.
