Gifts totalling £1,450 are being handed out by a parish council to help local children.
The annual awards by Haddenham parish council are made from an education fund.
Charitable Foundations committee chairman John Brandis said as interest rates had stayed low on investments this year, the council could not afford to give more.
It has given £250 to the village's junior and infants schools and to St Mary's Church of England School.
The Scout And Guide Association got £150 as did the Puddleducks playgroup.
Haddenham Youth Centre and three church youth groups were given £100 each.
Young people going on to further education are entitled to a £60 award if they apply to the council.
