The Wantage town mayor has handed out more than £3,000 to local groups following a bumper year of fundraising.
Jenny HannabyJenny Hannaby donated the cash to needy charities and organisations during her previous first term as mayor, which ended in May.
Among the groups to benefit were the Wantage Concords youth football club, the Wantage Silver Band, the October Club for people with Alzheimer's Disease and the King Alfred Scouts Hall management committee.
Mrs Hannaby said: "It is a pleasure helping people that help themselves."
