West Oxfordshire District Council is offering to help the local tourist trade recover from the effects of foot and mouth disease.
The council will hold a back-to-business evening at Cogges Manor Farm Museum, Witney, on Monday, from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.
Business and Tourism experts will be on hand including John Slater director of the Southern Tourist Board, Debbie Rouget of the Tourism Better Business, representatives on Business Link and the district council's director of finance Vic Allison.
There will also be guided tours of the museum, which has just re-opened after being closed because of foot and mouth disease, music on the lawn and refreshments.
District councillor Louise Chapman said: "This event is a valuable opportunity to bring local tourism businesses together and create links that will benefit the sector as a a whole.
"Everyone involved in tourism has felt the effects of foot and mouth disease.
"We hope everyone will get a great deal out of the evening's activities."
The museum's manager Clare Pope said: "Like many other attractions, Cogges Manor Farm Museum has had a pretty bad time of it over the last four months and the museum will continue to take precautions against the risk of infection from foot and mouth disease."
