Manoj Parmar, whose prolific run-scoring feats have been a feature of Oxfordshire cricket over the past five years, hit new heights on Sunday.
The 33-year-old Thame batsman recorded a career best 235 in a Thames and Chiltern Sunday League game against Kidmore End.
Parmar, whose previous best score had been 217, took 30 overs to reach his hundred but then plundered 135 from the last 15 as Thame amassed 368-3 to set up a 117-run success.
This was a sixth century of the season for the former Indian Under 19 player, who still plays first-class cricket for Gujarat in his home country.
Parmar, a professional coach, said: "I feel I should have kept wicket for India."
"It's about which team you play for and if Gujarat had been promoted to the top grade, I could have played Test cricket."
