The sun put a smile on the faces of runners and walkers from Oxfordshire who joined forces to raise money for charity.
The 'Miles Of Smiles' event was organised by two students from the Oxford Business and Media School, Rose Place, St Aldate's, Oxford, in aid of The Children's Society.
The Oxford Mail loaned start and finish banners to Mark Proctor and Vic Pennell, who staged the event from Oxford Sea Cadets' Donnington Bridge HQ.
The five-mile route took the runners and walkers along the river bank and through Christ Church Meadow.
More than 40 people took part and it is hoped that £400 will be raised for the charity.
