Farmer Billy Evans is staging a musical concert in memory of his wife.
His wife, Jane, 57, died recently of cancer. So he has transformed a concert organised before her death into a fundraising memorial.
Called A Tribute to Jane, the concert will be at his Field Farm in Stratton Audley Road, Launton, on Friday, July 13, starting at 7pm.
Mr Evans, who is also a Cherwell district councillor, said: "I have held several similar concerts on my farm in the past and Jane has always helped. This concert was planned before she died and so it is a tribute to her."
He has been called "the singing farmer" because he sang at many functions.
Musicians lined up include The Dorne Valley Boys, Tony Caspar and Bob East.
Mr Evans added: "I called myself a country, Irish, rock 'n' roll and any other old rubbish singer."
Profits from the concert will go to cancer research charities.
