Cheetahs' Danish ace Brian Andersen looked a proud man as he carried the flag for Denmark before their World Cup Group 2 clash against Sweden, Russia and Slovenia in Poland on Monday.
The 'Axeman' is skippering his country and led by example, notching two straight wins, including the scalp of Tony Rickardsson.
The competition didn't have the best of starts on Sunday with rain lashing down on Gdansk, but it soon brightened up, with Poland looking the team to beat come Saturday's final.
The racing was better on Monday when Andersen, Jimmy Nilsen and Roman Povazhny all rode well.
Todd Wiltshire and Leigh Adams were in great form as Australia moved through to the final.
