Oxfordshire could be without skipper Rob Williams for the second game running when they make the long trip to Cornwall for this weekend's Minor Counties Championship clash.

Williams missed last week's draw with Wales at Swansea because of work commitments.

And he may be forced to pull out of the three-day Western Division game at Truro, starting on Sunday, for the same reason.

Rob Williams may be unavailable for Cornwall trip Others unavailable include Keith Mustow, a century-maker against Wales, all-rounder Stewart Laudat and off-spinner Paul Jeacock.

There are also doubts over the fitness of young Robbie Eason.

The Oxford & Horspath opener had eight stitches in a cut above the eye after he was hit in the face diving to stop the ball in Swansea.

But there is some good news for Oxfordshire, with Keith Arnold coming through his first game back from injury against Wales.

Arnold, who damaged his pelvis when he fell from a horse last autumn, was given the all-clear to play again by a specialist last Friday.

"The doctor said that the fracture has healed completely," explained Arnold.

"There will be soreness in the muscles and tendons around it for a while yet, but I can't do any damage to the bone itself.

"It is now just a case of playing through the pain and being sensible about how many overs I bowl."

Oxon have named a squad of 12 for Truro, with Thame's Rob Brooks acting as cover for Williams and Eason.

Richmond batsman Charlie Knightley and Banbury seamer Ian Adams return to the side.

Coach Jack Potter was impressed by the showing in Wales, but he believes there is plenty of room for improvement.

"We batted very well for the first time, and I was delighted with that," he said. "But we dropped eight or nine catches, none of them particularly difficult, and that probably cost us the game."
