*Five Oxonian members travelled to Aldermaston to ride in the Newbury Road Club's 25-mile time trial. The fastest time was achieved by Stephen Parfitt, with a personal best of 1.02.48 on a warm and sticky morning. The winner was Ray Hughes (Clarence Wheelers) with a time of 53.27
