Travel business Abercrombie & Kent Europe is one of only three companies in Oxfordshire to receive the prestigious Queen's Award for Enterprise this year.
Her Majesty's Lord Lieutenant for Oxfordshire, Hugo Brunner, presented the award at a ceremony in the firm's new offices at Burford. Among the guests were Geoffrey and Jorie Butler Kent, members of Abercrombie & Kent's founding family, and their son Joss.
The Burford company is the European wing of the US de-luxe international travel firm. Last year, it brought 6,000 American visitors to the UK and Europe.
