'Page Three' prospect, Corina Weston of Tubney, near Abingdon, is overjoyed after beating thousands of women to win a nationwide 'Babe' contest.

The 19-year-old was crowned 'Max Star Babe 2001', at Max Power Live - the motorshow for Max Power magazine - in the NEC in Birmingham.

Corina said: "I just can't believe I've won. It really is a dream come true. I've never done modelling before and this is an amazing opportunity that will hopefully change my life forever. I'm so excited about the year ahead."

During the past few months, teams of talent spotters known as the 'Max Star Babe Hit Squad' have been scouring the country in a bid to find the next 'Page Three' star.

The judging panel for the event included celebrity glamour models such as Jordan and Jo Guest.

The judges voted unanimously for Corina, who wins a portfolio of glamour pictures and will also become the 'Face of Max Power' for the following year.

Max Power editor, John Sootheran, said: "We were looking for a girl who would epitomise the magazine - a girl who is fast, fun and independent. Corina has all these qualities plus a great personality and I can definitely see her being the next big thing."
