The Sky Sports bosses have done themselves no favours in the fans' eyes by switching four meetings, including two Grand Prix rounds, to Sky Sports Extra.
Supporters who have access to Sky Sports through a cable TV company or ITV digital are not able to view Sky Sports Extra, so the viewing figures could drop by about 50 per cent unless there is a rush to install a dish.

*The Supporters Club are running their annual day out to Brighton, taking in the Eastbourne v Cheetahs clash in the evening, on Saturday, September 1. Bookings can be made with Hilary Peasley on 01993 812271.
Still with the supporters, they brought their contributions to the team this season to £3,180 with their latest donation on Friday.
*Oxford begin their tough away campaign with a visit to Ipswich tonight where a win or a draw will give them the bonus point.
The winning margin was only 46-44 at Sandy Lane in April, so a tough match looks in store despite the fact that the Witches are likely to be without Chris Louis and Scott Nicholls.
They lost out 50-40 in the KO Cup at Wolverhampton on Monday where guest Greg Hancock rattled up 16 points.
