A car enthusiast died in a road accident after taking a friend home.
Paul Marlow, 28, had spent the evening of Friday, August 3repairing a car in a barn at his home, Little Wretchwick Farm, London Road, Bicester.
His father, John, said: "He drove his friend home to Ashendon, between Bicester and Aylesbury, and was driving home when the accident happened."
Police said Paul Marlow's Toyota was involved in an accident with an articulated Tesco lorry heading towards Aylesbury, on a stretch of the A41 known as the Ludgershall Straight, about 1am on Saturday, August 4.
The road was blocked for a time until the vehicles were removed.
Paul was the younger son of Mr Marlow and his wife Valerie, who have farmed at Little Wretchwick for about 30 years.
His father said: "Paul was fanantical about cars and was quite a good mechanic. He worked part-time for several rally and motorsport teams.
"He and his friend also repaired cars for people, but not as a business."
Paul, a former pupil at Cooper School, Bicester, worked for an Aylesbury engineering company.
