A man caught on CCTV indecently assaulting a drunk reveller as she sat slumped on steps in Oxford is facing jail.
The 29-year-old woman had drunk so much alcohol she had no recollection of the attack.
Hodcarrier Derek Tesarek, of Walton Crescent, Jericho, Oxford, pleaded guilty to a charge of indecent assault when he appeared at Oxford magistrates yesterday.
Shelley Cranshaw, prosecuting, said the defendant came across the woman at Bonn Square during the early hours of July 14, after she had visited Chef's Corner Kebab Van.
An employee of the kebab van said the woman appeared drunk and had difficulty speaking. She saw Tesarek sit next to the woman.
Mrs Cranshaw said the defendant rested the woman's head in his lap before indecently assaulting her.
Police were called and Tesarek was arrested.
Martin Bourne, defending, said his client was drunk and had no recollection of the attack.
The case was adjourned for pre-sentence reports. Tesarek was granted conditional bail.
