A county-wide project to give many villages 30mph speed limits is coming to an end.
So far communities in South Oxfordshire, Vale of the White Horse and West Oxfordshire have been offered the limits.
In the autumn Geoff Barrell, a county council principal engineer co-ordinating the project, will be moving to the last district council area, Cherwell.
He plans to have informal consultations with parish councillors before inviting requests from villages.

Mr Barrell said: "By going to the villages first, I hope to reduce the problems."
Villages without restrictions will be offered 30mph limits and those with 40 mph will be asked if they want a cut to 30mph.
The introduction of some speed limits may be accompanied by traffic-calming measures.
Mr Barrell said some parish councils, in villages where sharp bends and narrow roads kept the speed of traffic down, did not want limits.
