Heavy rain left a business in Wallingford counting the cost of flooding.
An internal drainpipe taking run-off from the roof burst under the weight of water at toy distribution firm Youngsters on the Hithercroft Industrial Estate.
At the height of the storm on Thursday, ceiling tiles fell in, and water leaked into the office space below.
Administration manager Ian Phelps said: "I have not seen rain that hard for that length of time before.
"Fortunately, the roofing repairs that we were having done stayed watertight, and there was only a small amount of damage."
There were reports of water flowing out of drains in St Nicholas Road rather than in because of the volume of water in the sewerage system.
Meanwhile, in the Bullcroft Park, maintenance staff were called to the Pavilion to stem water leaking in through holes in the roof caused by vandals.
