Dogs of all shapes and sizes will soon enjoy a canine get-together to help less fortunate four-legged friends.
The dog-wagging date, September 1 and 2, is being organised for the eighth year by the charity, Rehoming Animals in Need.
Kit Berry with her dogs Pet-lovers and their pooches can take part in sponsored walks - from a mile-long stroll to a more rigorous four-mile hike.
Kit Berry, the charity's chairman stressed the two-day event was not exclusively for dog-owners.
She said: "If someone want to do it but doesn't have a dog, we'll lend them one!"
