Rain prevented many aircraft from reaching the Abingdon Fayre 01.
But six made it, including a Second World War Spitfire and a new Merlin helicopter from RAF Benson.
The planes gave impressive displays for a crowd of between 1,000 and 2,000 at the old Abingdon airfield, now Dalton Barracks, on Sunday.

The show was the second run by a committee of enthusiasts in aid of the Douglas House Hospice in Oxford and Abingdon Hospital.
Mr Porter added: "We are planning another one next year and just hope for better weather."
