The effects of a proposed new town centre and large-scale housing development on transport and roads in Didcot will go on display next month.
Planning, transport and economics consultants, Colin Buchanan and Partners, are working with the county council, South Oxfordshire District Council and the Vale of White Horse District Council to identify the current and future transport issues in the area and possible improvements.
As part of the Didcot Transport Issues Study, there will be a public exhibition and workshops sessions on the effects of the development.
Nigel Birch, Oxfordshire County Council principal planning officer, said: "Didcot is changing - with a brand new town centre and major new residential development, transport and access in and around the town will be altered significantly."
Mr Birch said: "Central to the process of the study is the active involvement of the local community.
"The people of Didcot and the villages around hold a wealth of knowledge about the area and will no doubt have strong views about its future.
"The project team is anxious to get local people and businesses involved and supporting this important initiative."
The exhibition will be at the Civic Hall on September 20 between 5pm-8pm, September 21 between 4pm-7pm and September 22 from 10am-5pm.
The Saturday session will include workshops and provide a further chance for people to meet the transport team and discuss proposals.
