Stolen goods from eight separate burglaries were discovered after police searched a woman's house in Didcot, a court was told.
Emmaleene Kearsley, 23, of Hamble Road, Didcot, denies eight counts of handling stolen goods, between February 14 and April 10, 2000.
Mrs Jane Alt, prosecuting, told Oxford Crown Court yesterday that police searched the home address of Kearsley in April last year and discovered items taken in burglaries during the previous three months.
The items, belonging to eight different people, included televisions, computers, video recorders and silver and jewellery. Kearsley was arrested and interviewed by the police.
Mrs Alt said: "She said she had got the things cheap because she had got them off heroin addicts."
But she told police she did not buy computers off addicts because she "assumed that these things were stolen", said Mrs Alt.
The court heard the stolen goods had been identified by their owners. Finger prints belonging to the defendant had been identified on silverware, Mrs Alt said.
The trial continues.
